THE BIG RACE
Back in January we had a 100 meter race. The top 2 finishers were rewarded with a pass from any additional running, everyone else had to do extra conditioning. Denisse Lizano Clearly finished 1st. However It was an exciting race for second between Maria Kuzminskaya and Yashleen Kheterpal.
In the end Maria won second place by a hair over Yashleen. On another note Michelle Robert finished the race despite a broken leg!

We spent the day at Coco Beach. We had chicken wings on the pier, which is very massive! (see picture below)
Back to Disney Springs where this year we were lucky to hear an awesome band called "Will N Ray". Once again the tennis team shows off their dance moves, this time with the help of a dance director!

Orlando Florida is a pretty hectic place. It was nice to find this spot called "Celebration Town Center". It is away from all the Orlando traffic. It has one of the best places to eat in Florida called "Columbia Restaurant". Below are some pictures I took the night we were there. The other picture is Kris playing a pickup game of ping pong.

Our first duel match against Millsaps College. This is Michelle Robert serving to stay in the match with her doubles partner Grace Monahan. It was one of the most exciting matches of the week. It went to a third set 10 point tie break! Unfortunately they lost, but really competed hard.
That night also was the first time our number four player Yashleen Kheterpal was eligible to play. Yashleen was the only one on the team to come away with a win that night! Not bad for her first time competing. Wish I had a picture!

Early Saturday morning and the girls are already bracing for the virus. Hard to find any of those masks today. Late Saturday night we stopped at Walmart to stock up on food. We made many more trips to Walmart that week. It was a zoo there, always busy!

On my way from Bowling Green Kentucky to Orlando Florida, nothing but sunny skies ahead and a moon in the sky!
On my way to Florida my first night I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Bowling Green KY. The hotel was right next to Western Kentucky University. Very nice area and school. All the frat houses were really nice. The house below was right across from the hotel. Hotel was great also, definitely give it 5 stars!
