Today we videoed Morgan wearing the Athletic Training Belt.  This device helps a player maintain their ideal athletic height which is typically 8 to 12 inches below their normal standing height.  This will help Morgan to stay low on his forehand before, during and after contact with the ball.  Notice Morgan's very clean and efficient take back and follow through.  Morgan's forehand didn't always look this good.  He has worked really hard over the past 6 months perfecting his technique.

Today we also worked on a drill with Martin and his brother Miguel that teaches a player to add some variety into their game.  You will notice the flags about 5 feet above and across the net.  Players will rally and even play full sets hitting their shots with heavy topspin over the flags.  The idea here is not to simply moon ball but rather learn to hit as offensively as possible just clearing the flags and move your opponent around.
